Tessa DeDominic, MS, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

 

Tessa DeDominic graduated from Rush University (Chicago, IL) with a Master of Science degree in occupational therapy in 2016. Tessa is certified in the SOS Approach to Feeding and as a DIRFloortime Basic Provider. Tessa loves empowering clients to participate in their everyday roles with increased independence and fulfillment. She is also passionate about helping parents understand their children more deeply and how best to facilitate their child's regulation and engagement. Tessa has previously worked at an outpatient clinic in Boise, ID, and at the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, MD. At this world-renowned institute, Tessa worked in a specialized school for children whose needs were not being met in their local school district, as well as working in the inpatient pediatric rehabilitation unit. Tessa has previously lived in Missoula where she received her undergraduate degree and worked as a behavioral interventionist for 5 years. She was ecstatic to return to Missoula in 2021 and start working at Moving Mountains. In her free time, Tessa enjoys skiing, camping, solo travel to new places, and seeking out any and all live music. Tessa’s dog Barney follows her everywhere and she loves having him at work every day as the Moving Mountains therapy dog.
