Julia grew up in Georgia and first came to Moving Mountains Therapy Center two years ago as Tessa’s occupational therapy student. She loved her time in Missoula and is so excited to be back. Julia earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science from the University of Georgia and graduated from Augusta University in 2025 with a Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy. After graduation, she spent a year working at a sensory integration-based pediatric outpatient clinic in Atlanta. Julia is passionate about helping kids feel confident in who they are while building the skills they need to feel successful and independent in everyday life. She especially loves helping kids understand their bodies, emotions, and sensory needs so they can develop tools to regulate, advocate for themselves, and engage in the things they love. She also loves getting to know the whole family and believes that working
alongside parents and caregivers is such an important part of helping kids thrive. After dreaming about making it back to Montana, Julia made the move to Missoula with her husband, John, and their dog, Benny! Outside the clinic, she loves long walks, reading, playing outside, trying new restaurants, and exploring their new home with John and Benny.
