Mental Health Clinician
With an extensive background in adaptive services and functionality, human development, and family studies, Tara Hays has a genuine love for assisting individuals of all ages and abilities in reaching their full potential and tackling situations that they may have once believed impossible to overcome. She currently holds a Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through the CACREP Accredited program at the University of Montana and is a Professional Counselor Licensure Candidate in the state of Montana. Tara feels passionately that family is a crucial and critical part of everyone's story. She has received training as a behavior technician, as well as in parent education programs like Love & Logic and Circle of Security and is comfortable working with both adults and children within the concept of a dynamic family system. Born and raised in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley, Tara has a great love for nature and animals. She is a certified therapeutic riding instructor and helps direct a local non-profit therapeutic riding program. Tara is a firm believer that nature holds great properties and characteristics that help promote growth, recovery, and healing and practices what she preaches by spending as much time outdoors as she possibly can with her own family.
